Work on RRTS may hit traffic at two locations in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Delhi Traffic Police has issued advisories on traffic disruptions at two locations due to construction work on the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).
The first advisory pertains to construction work at Sundial Park on Ring Road, scheduled from March 22 to May 31, from 11 pm to 5 am.

Officials said that traffic on Ring Road near Sundial Park is likely to be affected by the carriageway from Sarai Kale Khan towards the Ashram side.
“Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and avoid this stretch during the specified hours. Suggested diversions include routes via Nizamuddin Khatta traffic signal and Bhairon Marg. Motorists going towards Noida are advised to take NH24, Noida Mor and Chilla Border to reach their destinations,” the advisory read.

The second advisory addresses construction work from Nangli Razapur, Sarai Kale Khan to Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station, slated from March 22 to May 15, also from 11 pm to 5 am. Officials said that traffic would be restricted on Railway Station Road, necessitating alternative routes for commuters, such as those via DND, Ashram, Mathura Road, and NH-24/NH-9.
